Telling it like it is doesn’t mean being a toxic prick.
Sure, we love pointing out the BS in our collective behavior. Hell, we’re doing it too. We just like to take a step back, look in the mirror, and have an honest talk with ourselves.
Free will is a beautiful thing. We are all free to do what we want, when we want, and how we want. We are also free to like what we like—and call out what we don’t.
However we choose to play it, fundamental decency is non-negotiable. Calling out certain types of behavior doesn’t mean insulting. It doesn’t mean targeting, and it never means hate.
Most importantly, having an opinion isn’t a license to be hideous to anyone who doesn’t look, live, or think like us.
As Tupac put it, only God can judge us. And last time we checked, none of us are God.
